March 2015. Superior Court of Cherokee County. Convinced District Attorney that my client was pulled over without probable cause. District Attorney voluntarily dismissed without a motion to suppress hearing.
Client charged with Theft by Taking Auto for unlawfully taking a pickup truck belonging to another person. Case dismissed 3 weeks after indictment in March 2015.
We obtained a dismissal of felony charge for our client charged with felony possession with intent. The charge was bogus and we stood by our client until the charge was dismissed, though the District Attorney offered him a plea to a significantly reduced charge. Our client is innocent and is free from all charges today.
Cherokee County Solicitor dismisses child cruelty charges on our client after we demonstrate that guilt cannot be proved and our client is unwilling to plea.
After 18 months, multiple determined district attorneys, a highly motivated “victim” and biased police investigation, Gregory Hicks obtained a dismissal of the rape charge against his client.
Gregory Hicks used his thorough examination of the details of the case, personal interviews with witnesses and assistance of his own private investigators to protect his client from 25 years in prison.
Cherokee County Superior Court, June 2014
Felony charge of methamphetamine possession dismissed.
Cherokee County State Court, May 2014 and June 2014
Dismissals of Obstruction of Officer obtained for two different clients. Both incidents involved fleeing from officers and were the sole charges against our clients.
We obtained a dismissal for DUI and Suspended License for our client in Cherokee County State Court. After the City of Woodstock Municipal Court insisted on high fines, probation and another suspended license, we took the case to Cherokee County State Court for jury trial. Both the DUI and the Suspended License were dismissed outright. There were no lesser charges.
We obtained for our client over a two year span full medical and income benefits culminating in a final lump sum settlement well in excess of six figures.
