Amanda R. Gaddis is an associate attorney with Law Office of Gregory A. Hicks. Ms. Gaddis has argued cases before every court in Georgia, from the Courts of Cherokee County to the Georgia Supreme Court.

In criminal cases, Amanda Gaddis has represented clients arrested for various crimes, including DUI, felony and misdemeanor drug offenses, theft crimes, assault or battery charges and violations of probation. Throughout courtrooms in Cherokee County, Cobb County, Canton, Woodstock, Marietta and surrounding areas, Ms. Gaddis’s knowledge of the law has earned her a proven record as a successful criminal defense lawyer. Through pre-trial motions, Ms. Gaddis has had evidence obtained in violation of her clients’ constitutional rights thrown out and ruled not admissible in court.

In addition to her work as a criminal defense attorney, Ms. Gaddis has guided and counseled clients in settling uncontested divorces, fought for clients’ rights in contested divorces and child custody or child support proceedings, and ensured that clients resolved their family disputes with the best resolution possible for their family given the situation. Ms. Gaddis represents clients in family law matters in Cherokee County, Cobb County, Forsyth County, Pickens County and Gilmer County and nearby areas.

Amanda Gaddis graduated first in her law school class from John Marshall Law School. While in law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of John Marshall Law Journal. Ms. Gaddis received numerous awards and accolades in law school, including the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence (Valedictorian), Salomon Scholarship, and CALI Excellence for the Future Award. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Gaddis worked as a paralegal with the Law Office of Gregory A. Hicks for over eight years.

Ms. Gaddis is a native of Cherokee County. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Kennesaw State University. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and admitted to practice in all courts in Georgia.
